Volunteering

NEK-TV relies heavily on its volunteers, young and old, to keep the station up and running. Volunteers help in the field by taping community events and at the station with a variety of office and production tasks. Working at the station is fun and no amount of help goes unnoticed by the staff at NEK-TV.

Not sure how to use a video camera? We'll not only show you how to use it, but also how to get the best picture quality and clarity. Moreover, we let you use our cameras! Don't know how to edit? We have multiple editing bays set up for community producers and volunteers and our friendly staff is dedicated to teaching you how to edit on your own. If there is enough interest, NEK-TV is also willing to offer classes for groups concerning video production.

Producing

NEK-TV is the best forum for getting your message out to the community. We have several producers creating programs from church services to variety shows to political proceedings. Whether you're interested in documenting your child's sporting event or discussing the news, there is no limit to what you can create and have shown on NEK-TV.
